Vinyl
Designs is an avid supporter of local car clubs - any make,
any model, any quantity. We aim to support local car clubs
by offering decal sponsorships and discounts. Essentially,
any qualifying car club in the St. Louis area receives a lifetime
of free membership decals in exchange for website ad space.
Membership decals are defined as a pair of decals your club
uses to promote itself.
Size and color restrictions apply.

Eligibility
The only requirements we have
for interested car clubs is that you have a fully functional
website that provides clear and uncluttered exposure for sponsors,
as well as an attendance minimum of 10 car shows/season.
How
to apply

to inquire. Or fill out the form at the bottom of this page
and submit it for review.
Then
what?
Upon acceptance, we will send
out a box of up to 60 decals (determined by number of active
members and new member activation volume) in a single color
(silver is most common, but we have dozens of standard color
options). Our Standard colors do not include metallic, reflective,
patterned, or printed vinyl. If a member doesn't want the
color you have recieved, he/she may trade in their decals
with us for the color of their choice. If he/she wishes to
upgrade to a metallic, reflective, patterned, or printed vinyl,
he/she may do so for a small fee ($2-$4/pair). Upon receipt
of the decals, we will send you a web banner ad to be placed
on your website (location will be discussed upon receipt).
How
long?
If you run out of the supplied
decals, let us know, and we'll send out more for free. This
does not apply to lost/damaged/stolen decals. If the decals
are lost/damaged/stolen, they can be replaced for $1/pair.
The contract is for a, minimum, 2 year period. If any unused
portion of the initial decals remains after 2 years, when/if
you decide to cancel, simply return the unused decals, and
remove our ad from your site. If you wish to continue the
sponsorship, then there is nothing more you need to do. It
will be automatically renewed until a stop notice is sent
to eric@vinyl-designs.com. You will continue to receive member
decals when your supply is emptied.
Color
Change Requests
For instance, if the initial
stock of decals is ordered in silver, and your club decides
later on to change the decal color to red, we can swap the
remaining silver decals for red decals (1 for 1). However,
we politely request this change is made only once a year at
most. Given that our number one goal is customer service,
we will happily solve any dissatisfaction you experience,
but multiple color change requests will result in additional
charges. Fees are always applied to color upgrades (when changing
from standard colors to specialty colors - i.e. reflective,
metallic, etc). As stated before, individual members are permitted
to return their decals to us in exchange for a color change,
and this may be done as often as necessary. However, the member
must bring in decals to recieve new ones.
Requirements
for ad exposure
When placing our ad on your
site, we do require equal exposure to other sponsors on your
site. In a tiered sponsorship program, we request equal exposure
to those sponsors that we would share a tier with. For flash-based/animated/revolving
ad space, we request equal exposure time, as well as alternating
sequence to offer equal exposure to all sponsors, regardless
of time-spent on a given page. For static ads, we require
our ad to be displayed at 450x60 pixels minimum, with a space
of at least 50pixels between other ads.
All
aspects of sponsorship are negotiable, and may be discussed
further in meeting.
